Obituary for Linda S Barganier

Linda Sue Barganier (nee Bradberry), born in San Augustine, Texas on June 5, 1947 and a long-time resident of Brazoria, passed away quietly on November 27, 2018. Linda enjoyed attending the many Brazosport High reunion events (Class of ’65), watching football-especially college ball and the N.O. Saints, collecting Christmas ornaments, genealogy, reading, crossword puzzles and keeping up with family and friends via social media. But her favorite activities were dancing, trying new recipes and restaurants, and traveling with her husband Ken of 17 years (Class of ’63) to Louisiana, the Texas hill country, and Chicago for visits with her daughters’ families. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brazoria.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ken and their Great Pyrenees, Yona II; her first husband Edgar and their 3 children, Laura Piersanti (Tony), Michael Floyd (Theresa) and Marlena Johnson (Ken); her stepdaughter, Pam Wozniak (Craig) from second husband, Bob; stepsons Steven, Kelly and Curt Guillot from her husband Ken; her sister Cathy Ritchie (Bruce); Grandchildren Chelsey, Tyler, Jori, Jake, Patricia, Haley, Anthony, Sophia, Joshua and many others; Great grandsons Carson and Grayson; Paternal aunt and uncle Wanda Loosier and Buddy Bradberry (Elaine); and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in passing by her parents, Clayton and Irene (Childress) Bradberry (nee Walker), brother Phillip Clayton Bradberry Jr. and second husband Robert W. (Bob) Lawler.

Memorial service will be held December 10, 2018 at 10:30am at First United Methodist Church of Brazoria, 409 Lazy Lane, Brazoria, Texas 77422. Burial services will be held privately in San Augustine.

NOT ONLY WAS LINDA THE BEST LOOKING GIRL AT CLUTE JR HI, BUT SHE WAS A NICE PERSON, TOO.  WE HAVE EXCHANGED BITHDAY GEETINGS FOR MANY YEARS ON OUR WEB PAGE.  I REALLY ENJOYED BEING HER CLASSMATE!  RIP LINDA.  AS ALWAYS, IMARO

I did not meet Linda until 10th grade at High School.  What I remember about her was her independence, and her free spirit attitude. I followed Linda on Facebook these last couple of years and she still showed her independence and free spirit.  Rest in Peace Linda.....will miss your comments and shares on Facebook.

Living on the other side of Texas, it makes it difficult when I see friends/classmates that I haven't spoken to in years pass into GODs loving hands. Certainly sending my prayers to Lindas' family. RIP.
