Skipper, what can I say about him.  I was around Skipper some in High School.  He and Ralph Jousan were good friends in High School.  My best story with Skipper and Ralph was when the three of us went to Houston....do not remember the reason....just going to Houston and Skipper took us to his father's house in Houston.  It was mid afternoon and while we were at this father's house his father offered us some whiskey....do I need to say more....!!!!  We did not turn it down and had somewhat of a buzz when we left.  His father was bigger than he was....big dude.  RIP Skipper.  Later Gater

SKIPPER JORDAN!!  The last time I remember seeing him was in 1969.  Me and several of my buddies were out carrousing after the funeral of Tommy Blair.  Jimmy Blair, Charlie Green and it seems like another guy or two were with us.  A car had run off the road on FM 2004.  We were trying to help the guy out when another car ran into the stuck car.  The driver of that car was "under the weather" and rather belligerant.  Threatening us with a shotgun etc.  Skipper showed up.  He was a LJ police officer at the time.  Did not like the threatening manner and SHOTGUN of the above mentioned antagonist so Skipper calls for "back-up" and DPS shows up to take control of the situation.  He was a nice guy.  RIP.  John Gambino

Skipper lived next door to me on Wisteria in L.J. His Mom had remarried a guy named Andy- he was a nice fella- he and Skip got along great. My Dad retired in 1965 & we moved to Marble Falls where I eventually graduated and I never saw him again. Skipper and I were good friends and didn’t realize he had died. He was always a hoot to be around! RIP my friend—-
