Carol was such a cute and sweet young lady.  Was her dad a disabled WWII vet?  I just always remember Carol's sweet smile.

Carol and I were in Leslie Sieler's mother's preschool class together.  She was my first "girlfriend."  It certainly didn't last, but it was something that we would occasionally mention to each other through school years.  I remember talking about it briefly at our 20 year reunion.  I have not done a good job keeping up with classmates and only knew Carol was no longer with us when I noted it here a few weeks ago.  It took my breath away.  She was special to lots of folks and I'll always have that little memory of our preschool relationship.

My sweet friend, I think of you often and of the good times and secrets we shared. You are close to my heart today as another of our group joined you in heaven. Shirley left us after a  well fought battle here. Just like you. Both of you so dear to my heart.  I love you my cherished friend.  Dot

Met Carol in grade school in LJ. She was a very smart person.  If memory serves me correctly she was in the National Honor Society, and all kinds of organizations.  She had a great personality and smile.  I remember her at a lot of the same social functions that we attended and that she and Butch were such an item.  RIP Carol.
