We hunted together, built and fixed lots of blinds and marsh buggies together, cooked many dinners for many events together,  argued and agreed to disagree together for most of our adult lives. I think about you often. You gave me some of my best memories. I hope you don't eat all the Blue Bell before I get there.

Brewer, what can I say except that we did enjoy some good times together.  Ron's father and my father played High School football together and that was something that Ron and I would share from time to time.  Ron even gave me a copy of one of the West Columbia High School programs with our father's position and weight.  Rufus played center and my father was a tackle.  Ron and I discussed that many times.  Ron was also in a car pool with me and Ben Hardin, Wright McBride, Mike Garret.  Ron drove that '58 Chevrolet that had a big engine in it......we jokingly referred to that car as the B-58.....what a hoot.  You have to admit....talking with Ron for five minutes and you knew his position on every political issue of the day and why he took that position.....whether you wanted to hear it or not.  Like Corky, many times we would agree to disagree.  Ron would see my brother at the Post Office and Joe said that everytime he saw Ron that Ron would ask about me and to say hell-o to me.  Ron, sometimes you were way ahead of the rest of us.  Rest in Peace my friend.  Later
