- US Air Force - 1966 to 1969
- Dow Badische - 1969 to 1970
- Southwest Texas State University - 1970 - 1973 (BS Mathematics and Computer Science)
- I met my wife Kathleen in college English class in 1970. I couldn't spell and she couldn't add. We were married in May 1972 and just had our 40th wedding anniversary. We are a great combination. She still can't add and I still can't spell.
- System Programmer and various Management positions - 1973 to 2000 (Texas Instruments - Austin, NCR - Ohio, Datapoint - San Antonio, Convergent Technologies - California, Husky Computers - Florida)
- Retired as President of North American Operations for Husky Computer in 2000.
- We sold our Condo in Clearwater, Florida and traveled the country in an RV from 2000 - 2004 (what a great time)
- In late 2004 we purchased a 100 year old house on 12 acres just south of New Summerfield, TX and I have been remodeling it room by room. Only one room to go. On the farm we have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 1 pygmy goats, 3 chickens, and 13 ducks.
- We do some traveling now and then. We enjoy taking cruises. In June of 2011 I checked off one of my Bucket List Items. I hiked from the North Rim to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. What a great 5 days.
- We plan to sell our farm in a few years and, if our health stay good, we will start some new adventure.

School Story:

High School was not one of my fondness memories. I was not motivated, shy, and I didn't have a lot of friends. Though I liked Math, I generally thought of myself as not very smart. Thanks to the Air Force the GI Bill, some great college professors my life turned around. I learned that motivation and hard work pays off.
