Tall George. I always had to look up to George. Great smile and quick to laugh.

I didn't realize George had passed away.  As juniors, we went to the prom.  The next time I saw him was at Astroworld, when I was pregnant with my daughter.  May he rest in peace.  Suzy (Van Dusen) Jansky

George Wayne Brooks...have some great memories of us in the 5th-6th grades and Junior High.  There were four of us....George, Destin LeBlanc, David Dunn and I that played a baseball game.  We had teams and about a 30 game season.  You got to select your team from real players and that players card had their batting ability and you would spin a dial and it would determine what happened to that batter.  Sometimes we would do sleep overs and play till we were told to go to bed.  We would play work up and other baseball batting and fielding games that we made up and play outside until it was too hot to play.  Those were some great memory days.  George and I went different crowd routes in High School.  I did run into George a few times at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches.  I do not recall seeing him at any of our reunions.  George was one of the few people I knew who could throw a baseball with either hand.  Rest in Peace George.  Later
