Marvin was a member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena. He retired from the City of Houston as a Plumbing Inspector and was a member of Plumber Local Union #68. Marvin enjoyed saltwater fishing, golfing and hunting. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and brother.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elaine; son, Audie Zwahr and fiancée Christa Jasek; twin brother, Mervin Zwahr; brother, Roger Zwahr and wife, Wanda; sisters, Judi Rasberry and husband, James and Susan Luttrell and husband, Les; and numerous family members and friends. He is also survived by his constant companion, “Girl Dog.”

Marvin never met a stranger and had a God-given ability to make everyone feel special.

The family visitation will be from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. and will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Grand View Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
