I don't think I've ever read all the signatures in my Freeport Junior High Annual.  The craziest was from Ann Cain, my Spanish teacher.  She wrote

"Querida Ester (my name in Spanish Class)

Buena suerte en la vida futura.  La rosa es roja, la violeta azul, el lodo es feo y tambien tu.  Senior Eater Ann Cain.  I'm so glad you came to visit and live here.  You've added a lot to my class."

Translating:

Dear Ester

Good luck in the future.  Roses are red, violets are blue, mud is ugly and so are you.

Good thing I didn't read this years ago - might have crushed me.  Well, not really I know she was kidding.  I kept in touch with her until her death a few years ago.  Her husband, Bennett Willis is my Facebood friend.
