Mr. LeBouef's Obituary

Joseph C. Le Bouef, 91, of Lake Jackson, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. He was a decorated World War II veteran. He flew 31 missions out of England with the Eighth Air Force. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, The European Theatre Medal, Good Conduct Medal , four air medals, and eight operations ribbon with two battle stars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elsie Le Bouef; brothers, Roy and Aaron and his beloved and beautiful wife, Adele, of 62 wonderful years.

J. C. was survived by six children, Burney, of Lake Jackson, Robert, of Sugar Land, Thomas and Brenda, of Angleton, Warren and Gina, of Giddings, Lena Kubala and James, of Angleton, Chris and Carol, of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Dana Le Bouef Parish and Daniel, Blake and Keshia, Tyler Kubala, Angelica

Le Bouef; one great-grandson, Shane Parish; three step great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Mallory Parish and Ryan Folsm; one brother; D. J. Le Bouef and wife, Mary, of Angleton and one sister-in-law, Sharion Le Bouef, of Lake Jackson.

His family came first and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a pipefitter for Dow Chemical for over 30 years until he retired. J. C. enjoyed dancing to the music of Debbi and Lowell every Friday night.

J.C. was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Pipefitters Local 390, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Lakewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2011, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Leo Wleczyk officiating.

Pallbearers will be his sons and son-in-law.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School, 1600 Highway 2004, Richwood, Texas 77531.
