I met Greg about 4th or 5th grade. We were in the same 6th grade class at Beutel school in LJ. Miss Porter was our teacher and her first year to teach.... big mistake with The group of misfits in that class!!! Any way we were a little more rowdy than usual one day... she was very upset and left room... we really got rowdy. Well in a couple of minutes Principal John Glenn came in the room and got on our case. He then was talking to us in a real discipline way. He was now sitting on one of those book storage cabinets. While he is "chewing " us out ... Greg pushes the sliding door to the side with the Principal sitting right above him... then Greg sticks out his tongue has his thumbs in his ears and wiggles his fingers. Some of us just burst out laughing and the Principal is upset saying what was so funny??? Greg just shut the sliding door. Mr. Glenn never knew Greg was right below him. Ran with Greg a little in Junior High. We went different ways in High School. Do not remember seeing Greg after Graduation. I did attend his funeral. Rest In Peace Greg.
