School Story:
Although I wasn't really aware of it at the time, my life's fondest memories are of my days spent in and around BHS. My best friend in the world was Arnold Walters. He was as at home at my house with my family as I was at his. We had many a fun-filled adventure together. He taught me how to bass fish in Warren's Pond, how to hunt rattlesnakes at Surfside, and many other "useful" activities, but most importantly, he taught me how to laugh at myself. He and I gradually lost contact as we grew up, got jobs, got married and went our own separate ways. Sadly, he passed away during one of my overseas stints, so I didn't even find out until much later. I last saw Arnold during our 30th class reunion. I consider myself privileged to have had such a friend.
