On Sunday June 30 2019, Michael Derwood Eudaley passed away at home surrounded by love at the age of 73.

Derwood was born May 2 1946 and was a lifelong resident of Freeport Texas. He graduated from Brazosport High School in 1964 and joined the army. After his service he became a pipe fitter working out of Pipefitters Local 211 in the area. He began working for Entex in 1994 where he remained until retirement. He loved riding down the beach with his faithful companion Bogart. Later in life he discovered a love of cowboy poetry and performed his renditions entertaining many throughout Brazoria County. Derwood was a hero to his younger brothers and had many friends including his lifelong friends Jack Taylor and Douglas Crosby.

Derwood was preceded in death by his father Paul Eudaley and brother Joe Eudaley.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Hazel Bailey Eudaley and his wife of 49 years Ginny Crow Eudaley. Daughter Staci Smith(Joedy) and grandson Eric. His brother John Paul Eudaley(Renee) and nephew Paul Richard Eudaley. Sister in law Martha Lilly and brothers in law Paul and Phillip Crow and their spouses.

Visitation will be at 10a.m. July 3 with a memorial service beginning at 11a.m. at Stroud Funeral home in Clute Texas.
